The Importance of Being Earnest explores this statement as Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrief adopt fake personas in an attempt to get away and win the love of two women. The duality of these identities inspired me to explore themes of changing perspectives and transformation. While honoring the Victorian style, I leaned into the shapes and shifting patterns found within Art Nouveau to help create a space that embodies the idea of putting on a show, creating three different unique space, and transforming a black box space.
